|DCMS Inaugural Ball and Annual Meeting|
The dcms presidential inaugural ball & 165th annual meeting will take place on friday, NOVEMBER 17, 2017.
you are cordially invited to this time-honored event!
The ball will begin at 6:00pm on Friday, November 17, 2017. It will take place at the Museum at 4160 Boulevard Center Drive.
There will be a live band, dinner, dancing and the official inauguration of Ruple Galani, MD as the 2018 DCMS President!

RESIDENT & FELLOW POSTER PRESENTATION: Dozens of local residents and fellows present their research each year at the DCMS Inaugural Ball & Annual Meeting. The DCMS Poster Session was established in 2009 to allow physicians to showcase their abstracts and poster presentations on a local level in the Northeast Florida medical community.

ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY: Each year, we recognize the talented and dedicated DCMS members who are making a difference in their community and practice! We honor physicians in the areas of community service, leadership and humanitarian efforts, as well as recognizing excellence in research published by DCMS members.
UPDATE ON THE MEDICAL SOCIETY: The DCMS Inaugural Ball & Annual Meeting is the perfect setting to reflect on the successes of the Medical Society during the previous year, while also setting goals for the year ahead. Attendees will enjoy an update on the DCMS and the DCMS Foundation.
About our President-Elect: Ruple Galani, MD
Ruple Galani, MD, is an invasive non-interventional cardiologist at Baptist Heart Specialists.
Dr. Galani was born in Toledo, Ohio and attended undergraduate school at Northwestern University. He attended medical school at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Dr. Galani completed his internship and residency at University of Florida, Shands Hospital in Gainesville where he served as Chief Resident for Internal Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in cardiology at The Ohio State University in Columbus.
Dr. Galani is married to Gina Galani and has three children, Ava, Alexis and Asher.
